Hello and we hope this note finds you well. As to business, the governor has given the OK for businesses such as ours to fully reopen, so Barnwell Photography is open for business and scheduling jobs. I, and my staff, are all vaccinated but are happy to wear mask while you are in the studio if you prefer. We certainly hope everyone has taken the opportunity to get the vaccines that allow businesses, such as ours, to reopen safely. If you’d like to schedule a job, give us a call or drop us an email.
When you feel comfortable, we hope you’ll return for a meal at your favorite restaurant and shop in a local store to support area businesses. Not all made it through the Covid pandemic and most are still struggling, even as things get better on the infection and vaccine fronts.
As to travel, the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains have opened up most roads and trails, along with Visitor Centers and shops. Recent times have made us all realize how important it is to keep in touch with family and friends. While text and emails are useful for transmitting information, everyone appreciates the heartfelt emotions expressed in a hand-written note. Recently we introduced a line of high quality note cards, each with one of Mr. Barnwell’s beautiful nature images. They are available in the studio or in our store. Each card comes with an envelope and plastic sleeve.
For inspiration to get out and enjoy the great outdoors, here are a few images taken from the Vistas books, which showcase the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Great Smoky Mountains National Park. With a modest effort we can all safely enjoy nature’s beauty even in these trying times, so head out for a drive or hike and enjoy the green, lush, days of summer.
